Job summary

Overview

The SalesExecutive position is responsible for revenue generation from new and existing customers within INSUT (Malaysia) SDN BHD. This role will manage sales to different tier customers depending on the market and brand context. This team is critical to the business, as the key to our success is retention, growth and cultivating new business.

The Sales role will involve a combination of internal and external sales activity, meeting customers face to face and attending events. He/She will sell to valued existing customers, generate new business, and performance will be evaluated based on achieving revenue and new business targets.

The Sales will be expected to develop their awareness of the brand industry, building greater insight over time. Maintaining and strengthening the relationship throughout the year is an important focus, to develop an understanding of the customers’ needs and expectations. He/She will understand the customers’ needs and articulate a compelling value proposition as part of the sale. They will have a significant role in developing new lead or customer.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers in Consumer Electronics, Medical, and Automotive sectors. Your role is key to expanding our customer base.
  • Customer Feedback: Ensuring swift follow-up on all client communications to keep your projects moving forward. Even during after work hours if necessary.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and manage resources to meet annual sales targets. Your contributions will directly impact the company's growth and success.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify new opportunities and trends, helping us stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as Engineering, Customer Service, and Planning to ensure a smooth chain of processes.
  • Project Commercialization: Take the lead in commercial matters from RFQ to first Production Batch Orders, ensuring projects turn into successful commercial ventures.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and develop accurate reports, forecasts, and tender success indicators, enhancing our decision-making process to head of department.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Degree holder in communications, Marketing, Business or related field; or equivalent with sales/tele-sales experience (proven sales track record).
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Management. Candidates with experience in Plastic Injection Moulding and the Electric and Electronic industry will have added advantages. (Fresh grads are also highly welcome to apply).
  • Organizational Skills: Exhibit strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Mandarin language skills would be an advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confident, aggressive, pleasant and able to work under pressure.
  • Must be self-motivated, sales-driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Passionate towards sales, dedicated to achieving personal sales targets.
  • Experience in preparing Salesforce.
  • Fluent English - speaking and writing would be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Required to travel.
