Job summary

A leading lubricant distributor is seeking an Account Executive in Terengganu to establish and promote sales through motorcycle workshops and shops. The ideal candidate will possess strong selling skills, be self-motivated, and willing to travel extensively. Experience in FMCG or lubricants sales is preferred, along with a driving license and English and Bahasa proficiency. This role offers a dynamic environment in a company with over 25 years of market presence.

Job description

We are looking for an account executive who can sell Engine Oil Motorcycle Parts/Tyres/Lubricants outlet in this area. The channel will include visiting motorcycle workshops and motorcycle spare part shops. Preferably someone who's a fast learner and responsive with strong selling skills. Candidate with experience in FMCG line or selling engine oil/lubricants will be a priority.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively source and establish new accounts.
  • Aggressively promote and generate sales as set by the company.
  • Ensure collection of debts in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for accelerated share of market, sales, and profit growth for the assigned brand portfolio.
  • Develop trade strategies and promotion plans to drive channel growth in terms of market share.
  • Track sales goals and report results as necessary.
  • Report directly to Managing Director.
Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a driving license and own a car.
  • Required languages: English, Bahasa.

  • Understand competitors' marketing plans (pricing, incentives, promotions, etc) and able to formulate marketing plans.

Position will be based in Kuantan or Kuala Terengganu.
