Job summary

A design company based in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a proactive individual to drive customer acquisition through effective communication and sales strategies. This full-time Non-Executive role requires at least 3-5 years of experience in painting, waterproofing, or general maintenance. Candidates should possess good communication skills, be able to prepare quotations, and self-manage. A valid transport is essential. The position offers a minimum salary of RM 2,800 per month.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting, waterproofing, renovation, or maintenance is an advantage.
• Registered with CIDB as a construction personnel is desirable.
• Self-disciplined, motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers through phone calls, site visits, referrals, social media and online enquiries.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for painting, waterproofing, renovation, home repair and maintenance work.
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback in a professional, solution-oriented manner.
• Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct basic site assessments to understand customer requirements before quoting.
• Assist with site operation needs including purchasing materials, coordinating deliveries and monitoring jobsite progress.
• Work closely with the operations team/workers to ensure smooth and timely job completion.
• Assist in daily administrative and sales tasks.
• Create and manage simple online advertisements via Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp to generate leads.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in painting, waterproofing, renovation, home repair or general maintenance is an added advantage.
• Registered with CIDB as a construction personnel member is desirable.
• Sales experience in related industries is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to prepare quotations and understand basic site conditions.
• Self-disciplined, motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of social media advertising (IG/FB/WhatsApp).
• Own transport is required (car/van).
