A leading sales company in Chemor, Malaysia, is looking for a Sales Executive to identify new business opportunities and manage customer relationships. The role requires achieving sales targets, handling inquiries, and coordinating logistics. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma or Degree in Business or Marketing, along with 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or food. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and be willing to travel.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across retailers, wholesalers, food service, distributors, etc.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as set by management.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor pricing, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and product presentations for potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide solutions promptly and professionally.
Follow up on orders, delivery schedules, credit terms and outstanding payments.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotional activities, and new product developments.
Provide management with regular feedback on market trends and customer behavior.
Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and finance for order fulfilment.
Ensure timely delivery and proper documentation (Delivery Order, Invoice, Purchase Orders, etc.).
Work with the Finance team to ensure timely collection and resolve payment issues.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Update customer database, sales pipeline, and visit reports.
Track progress toward sales KPIs and highlight areas requiring improvement.
Develop a strong understanding of the company’s full product range.
Stay updated on product specifications, pricing structures and promotional strategies.
Provide customers with accurate product information and recommendations.
Ensure all sales activities comply with the company policies and regulations.
Maintain ethical conduct in pricing, negotiations, and customer dealings.
Support documentation or audit requirements when necessary.
Participate in sales and product training to improve knowledge and performance.
Propose ideas to enhance sales strategies, customer experience and workflow efficiency.
Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, food or related field.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-relationship skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Target-driven and able to work under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Possess own transport and willing to travel.
