Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Development: Target industrial manufacturers, construction firms, developers, and key automotive clients (OEMs, tier suppliers, and EV manufacturers).

Channel Management & Project Sales: Build and manage distributor networks across key regions and secure contracts for large infrastructure, building, and industrial projects.

Technical Sales & Solution Selling: Understand the specific fastener requirements for production equipment, automation, maintenance, and automotive assembly (e.g., torque standards, material specs). Advise on and collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions for client-specific challenges.

Revenue Growth: Achieve sales goals by driving revenue through new client acquisition, account penetration, and project-based sales.

Market Insights: Analyze manufacturing, construction, and automotive trends (e.g., automation, EV assembly, green building) to identify opportunities and tailor product offerings.

Compliance: Ensure products meet Malaysian construction standards (MS, BS) and automotive quality standards (IATF 16949).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in B2B sales within the industrial manufacturing, construction, automotive supply chain, machinery, or MRO supply sectors.

Experience managing large industrial accounts and distribution networks.

Technical proficiency in industrial fasteners and applications, and knowledge of building codes, project procurement cycles, and automotive assembly/quality standards.

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is advantageous.

Willingness to travel extensively to industrial hubs, project sites, and across Malaysia.

Proven ability to develop key accounts and distribution channels.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and CRM skills.

Strategic mindset with a focus on market expansion.

Driver’s license and readiness for frequent travel.
