Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Ancileo helps airlines and OTAs turn travel insurance into a revenue engine by embedding insurance into the booking flow with plug-and-play APIs and localised payments.
In this role you will own the propositions library, develop commercial models, prepare proposals and tenders, and enable the sales team with partner-ready materials. You will work directly with the VP Strategic Partnerships and influence CEO-level governance.
Ancileo helps airlines and OTAs turn travel insurance into a revenue engine, and a moment their travellers actually remember. Our technology lets airlines and OTAs embed insurance directly into the booking flow, so it's easy to buy, easy to understand, and easy to claim. Under the hood: plug-and-play APIs, white label options, agent portal management, automated claims, and localised payment collection. Ancileo works with airlines and OTAs across 30+ markets.
About the role
This role builds the commercial material that turns a conversation into a deal. You will own the propositions library, prospect research, commercial models, proposals, and reporting that keeps the pipeline honest. You will work directly with the VP Strategic Partnerships, and your work will be seen at CEO level and in monthly governance reviews. This is a build role, not a maintenance one — the foundations exist; most of what you will own does not yet, in the form it needs to be.
Key responsibilities
Build and refresh the propositions library — plug-and-play positioning material and partner-ready presentations by segment and by product, versioned, current, and strong enough that nobody builds from scratch again
Conduct prospect research and briefs including market and business-line mapping, incumbent insurer identification, coverage-gap analysis, checkout-flow review, and scored recommendations on account pursuit
Develop commercial models including revenue and premium forecasts, attach-rate and sensitivity work, and the assumption sets behind them
Prepare proposals, RFPs and tenders — first drafts, structured and specific, ready for the VP to sharpen rather than rewrite
Build sales enablement through the Sales Library and value-proposition folder — structure, currency and discipline, so the team's knowledge compounds instead of scattering
The exposure you get
Your work sits directly underneath live commercial conversations, which puts you closer to the deal-making than most roles at this level. You will build the material behind a negotiation and then be in the room for it — joining partner discussions, seeing how terms are actually shaped, and understanding why a deal lands or stalls.
Targets, senior relationships and commercial terms sit with the VP Strategic Partnerships, so you will not carry a quota in your first year. The trade is a narrower remit in exchange for a closer view of how these deals are won.
About you
4–7 years' experience in strategy or consulting, insurer proposition or product marketing, or a commercial / analyst role inside an airline, OTA or travel platform
A self-starter who finds the route to an answer when the first one is blocked and does not wait to be unblocked
Comfortable with Excel and with numbers — you can build and defend a forecast and say which figures are assumptions
Exceptional deck craft, at volume — you can turn out a clear, partner-ready deck quickly and repeatedly
Strong written English, with first drafts good enough to send
Partner-facing and credible in the room — you can take a commercial or technical concept and explain it clearly to a partner's team, then hold the conversation when they question it
AI-native — you already use these tools daily and can show what you have built with them and where you judged their output to be wrong
Organised by instinct — you document requirements, deadlines, open questions and findings so the next person can pick them up
Comfortable with the ambiguity and speed of a lean, fast-scaling team
Nice-to-have:
Travel, insurance or insurtech background.
Exposure to APAC markets beyond your home market.
RFP or tender response experience.
An existing network in travel or insurance — welcome, but not something we hire for.
