Job Title: Key Account Manager (KAM) FMCG

Job Description:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on driving sales growth and increasing market share for Alibaba International in the Malaysia region.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities, conduct market analysis, and develop sales strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand existing ones.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless account management and delivery of exceptional customer experience.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform business decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Above 3 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Solid understanding of the Malaysian market and proven track record in achieving sales targets within the sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with LAZADA's platform and the wider Alibaba International ecosystem is highly desirable.
