Job summary

A leading coffee equipment supplier in Selangor seeks a dedicated showroom maintenance assistant. The role involves managing equipment and inventory, assisting in equipment inspections, and ensuring a welcoming customer experience. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience and be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Own transport is essential, and regular communication is key to success in this role. Weekly reporting of the inventory and maintenance status will be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain showroom equipment and inventory.
  • Prepare and update central machine movement log.

  • Prepare weekly inventory and machine issue reports.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of showroom equipment and inventory. Ensuring that all movements of machines, parts, tools, ingredients are recorded and tally with existing inventory control sheet.
  • Preparation and timely updates of a central machine movement logbook or Google sheet for showroom inventory.
  • Assist Sales Support Team on monthly inspection for equipment condition and recording in Equipment Condition Log Record System of grinders, espresso machines, brewers, water filter systems, and any other items required to be inspected.
  • Assist Sales Support Team to monitor and place reminders for coffee machine preventative maintenance (done quarterly), showroom air‑conditioner servicing (done quarterly), water supply and filter conditions servicing (if any), lighting replacements in the showroom (if any) and any other general items requiring maintenance.
  • Oversee the cleaner adheres to the schedule provided and ensure the cleanliness of the showroom.
  • Provide a holistic customer experience to any walk‑ins or scheduled patrons of the showroom. Know in detail the products and services of the company and ensure ability to explain all types of products to any customer.
  • Prepare weekly reports on inventory status, machine issue logs, consumables low‑stock alerts, improvement suggestions, cleaner checklist compliance and any other requested reports.
  • Carry out any other assigned ad hoc tasks from time to time.
Requirements

  • Have a firm yet friendly and welcoming vibe with advanced interpersonal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess own transport.
