Job summary

A leading steel manufacturer in Kuala Selangor is looking for a motivated sales professional to identify and secure business opportunities. The role involves maintaining client relationships, implementing marketing strategies, and managing the sales process from prospecting to closing. Candidates should possess a degree and have 2-5 years of relevant sales experience. Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required. Job description

Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities by cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential clients.

Plan & implement effective sales & marketing strategies to achieve goals and targets.

Maintain existing business relationships through continuous client follow-up, responding to client inquiries, and resolving problems on their behalf.

To develop and generate customer interest and understand business requirements.

Responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting, presentation, quotation, negotiation & closing sales.

Coordinate order taking, production, deliveries, and collection.

To prepare sales reports and perform any other tasks as and when required by the Management occasionally.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Certificate / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • 2-5 years of relevant sales experience in tin plate and steel cans manufacturing preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, aggressive, and customer service-focused at all times.
  • Able to work in a challenging & fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses own transport.
  • Candidates with experience in the FMCG industry in mental packaging are an added advantage.
  • Good verbal & written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. (To liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates).
  • Candidates must be willing to work in Bandar Puncak Alam, Selangor.
