Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices are observed at the site.
• Prepare the daily site Safety Inspection Checklist.
• Carry out safety programs for new workers from time to time.
• Monitor daily safety activities at the site.
• Inspect worksite machinery for compliance with safety requirements.
• Assist in incidents investigation and reporting.
• Ensure availability of safety signage and first aid kits.
• Report safety issues to the Project Manager.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe working practices are observed and complied by all staff/workers at the site.
• Carry out and prepare the daily site Safety Inspection Checklist.
• Carry out safety programs (Safety induction/toolbox meeting, etc.) for new workers/subcontractors from time to time.
• Monitor the daily safety general workers activities at site.
• Inspect the worksite machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with the project site safety requirements.
• Assist in incidents/accident investigation and reporting.
• Ensure safety signage, first aid kit, firefighting equipment and adequate supply of safety materials are available at the worksite.
• Ensure all site accessories are safe and housekeeping is carried out at site.
• Assist and report to the Project Manager on issues pertaining to site safety, health and environmental matters.
• Be a team player and proactive in promoting safety, health and environmental matters at the workplace.
