Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe working practices are observed and complied by all staff/workers at the site.
 
- Carry out and prepare the daily site Safety Inspection Checklist.
 
- Carry out safety programs (Safety induction/toolbox meeting, etc.) for new workers/subcontractors from time to time.
 
- Monitor the daily safety general workers activities at site.
 
- Inspect the worksite machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with the project site safety requirements.
 
- Assist in incidents/accident investigation and reporting.
 
- Ensure safety signage, first aid kit, firefighting equipment and adequate supply of safety materials are available at the worksite.
 
- Ensure all site accessories are safe and housekeeping is carried out at site.
 
- Assist and report to the Project Manager on issues pertaining to site safety, health and environmental matters.
 
- Be a team player and proactive in promoting safety, health and environmental matters at the workplace.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
 
- Possess valid SHO/HSO certification (DOSH added advantages).
 
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
 
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
 
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies or challenging situations.
 
- Willing to travel as and when required.
 
- Willing to work overtime as and when required.
