Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) professional to manage the overall safety activities within the organisation in Johor Bahru.

You will enforce safety practices, inspect sites, and conduct training sessions for site personnel, while coordinating with local authorities and clients to ensure compliance with codes and requirements. Certifications in occupational health and safety are required for SHO and SSS roles.

Qualifications

• Certificate in occupational health and safety (Green Book) is required for SHO.
• Certificate in occupational health and safety (Yellow Book) is required for SSS.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall safety, health and environmental activities in the organisation.
• Enforce supervision, discipline and work ethics for site personnel in safety, health and environmental matters.
• Interact with local authorities and clients to ensure compliance with various codes and requirements.
• Inspect site to ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Conduct safety awareness training workshop to the site personnel.
• Review, update and feedback periodically on safety reports and records of individual sites.
• Perform any other safety & health duties assigned by the superior.
