Job summary

A construction firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a registered Safety & Health Officer with a valid GREEN BOOK. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be self-motivated. Responsibilities include developing HSE policies, liaising with authorities, and maintaining safety records. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies.

Job description

Registered competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with Occupational Safety & Health Department (DOSH) –must have a valid GREEN BOOK.

Minimum5 yearsof experience as a registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in the construction industry.

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with Clients, Consultants, project teams.

Looking for candidate with short notice or able to start immediately

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the development and implementation of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures.

Liaise with relevant authorities (DOSH, DOE, Bomba, etc.) to address and resolve site-related issues.

Maintain accurate records of safety, health, and environmental activities, including incident reports and compliance documentation.

Perform any other duties assigned by Project Director / Manager as required.
