What You’ll Do:
- Conduct site induction training for company and subcontractor personnel.
- Prepare Project Monthly HSE Report and Project HSE Program.
- Assist supervision and workers in risk identification and job hazard analysis.
- Report safety non‑compliance to the Project Manager and subcontractor, liaise with authorities and lead accident investigation.
- Facilitate the site Safety Committee agenda, toolbox meetings and involve Safety and Health Representatives.
- Serve as Secretary of Safety & Health Committee.
- Assist the HSE Manager in preparing company HSE documentation.
- Advise and support the Project Manager for implementing and auditing the Health, Safety, Security & Environment Management Plan.
- Maintain accountability of line management personnel for Health, Safety, Security & Environment.
- Identify safety training needs and coordinate sessions/courses for site personnel.
- Monitor compliance with Safety & Health Program requirements.
- Monitor compliance with procedures, safe work standards and statutory requirements.
- Implement and communicate compliance requirements for company Safety Procedures and work standards/practices.
- Advise on all project related Health, Safety, Security & Environment issues.
- Maintain safety education and awareness to support effective Safety management.
- Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., DOSH, DOE, CIDB Local Authorities).
- Lead accident investigation for any site accident and prepare accident report with recommendations.
- Perform any other job/functions assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health, certificate as Safety and Health Officer by NIOSH or other DOSH‑recognized institution.
- Registered with DOSH as Safety Officer (valid SHO registration).
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience with safety and health matters.
