This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Health Officer based in Kuching. The Safety Health Officer will be responsible for ensuring workplace and construction safety, facilitating compliance with occupational health regulations, and promoting a safe working environment.

Daily responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, implementing safety measures, and providing health and safety guidance to employees. Collaboration with management and relevant authorities to maintain health protocols and safety standards is also key to the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Construction Safety practices and regulations
• Expertise in Occupational Health and Community Health standards
• Excellent Communication skills for training, reporting, and collaborating with team members
• Certification in Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, or similar) is highly desirable
• A background in health and safety management within the construction or engineering industries is preferred
