Safety and Health Executive (OSH Coordinator)
Responsibilities
- Development & maintenance of SHE policy; SHE objectives & targets; SHE plan; legal & other requirements; SHE related risk assessments; internal & external SHE communications; internal audits; meetings; training; documented information & records; etc.
- Conduct SHE risk assessments (HIRADC, EAIA, etc.), review & update accordingly.
- Plan & conduct SHE training & competency programs – briefing, induction, internal & external awareness according to legal & other requirements.
- Conduct investigations, data collection & analysis of any accident, near‑miss or dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease & environmental incidents; maintain records; internal communication on preventive / corrective actions and external communication to authorities.
- Prepare monthly SHE reports for SHE Head’s review & approval, and for Top Management; includes legally‑bounded reports for SHE Head’s review & approval.
- Conduct & arrange environmental management practices – scheduled waste collections, chimney & IETS monitoring, appointment of certified environmental contractors for related environmental services.
- Conduct & maintain inspection & audit of the place of work; assist in maintaining the SHE Management System certifications from certification bodies.
- Participate in authority, customer and third‑party audits and certifications as needed.
- Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time by the SHE Head.
Job Requirements
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental or equivalent.
- Preferable at least one year of experience in manufacturing / production operation.
