Job summary

A manufacturing company in Penang seeks a Safety and Health Officer to ensure compliance with SHE requirements. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Engineering, at least 6-8 years of experience in the manufacturing process, and certifications in First Aid and AGTES. Knowledge of ISO standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Safety & Health Officer registered with DOSH.
• Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Current certifications in First Aid and AGTES.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to all SHE requirements.
• Plan, implement and coordinate SHE programs.
• Conduct audits and evaluations for SHE compliance.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To ensure compliance to all Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) requirements.
• To plan, implement and coordinate SHE programs for incident prevention and protection.
• Propose recommendations for hazards control and conduct audits and evaluation to ensure compliance to SHE issues.

Job Qualification

• Tertiary Qualification - Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Safety & Health Officer (Registered with DOSH)
• Minimum 6 – 8 years in manufacturing process.

Other Special Requirements

• Good knowledge in ISO 14001, ISO 14064 and ISO 45001.
• Knowledge in HAZOP will be an added advantage.
• Current certifications in First Aid and AGTES
