Job summary

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate an understanding of OSH regulations and applicable industry environmental and safety standards.
  • Assist Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to collect, analyze and maintain statistics on accidents, occupational poisonings and diseases, which occurred at the plant.
  • Assist in managing emergency response team and its facilities in accordance with the regulations.
  • Conduct workplace inspection and work with respective area owners to develop solutions to unsafe acts or conditions observed.
  • Conduct incident investigation and generate incident reports with minimal guidance.
  • Assist in managing the safety and health committee and ensure the committee is active.
  • Assist in any safety & environmental programs and their execution.
  • Maintain safety records as required.
  • Conduct training and provide guidelines to workers on safety‑related matters.
  • Able to participate, lead, or drive any committees.
Job Qualification
  • Minimum: diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in safety and environment or related field.
  • Experience working in manufacturing processes with a focus on people safety.
  • Must work well in a team environment and also be able to work independently.
  • Preference for experience in food, food‑related or consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Experience conducting training in previous workplaces.
  • Experience in safety and health committees and emergency response teams.
