  • Develop, implement, and monitor workplace health & safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with local safety laws, regulations, and standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards
  • Carry out regular safety inspections and audits
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports
  • Recommend and enforce corrective and preventive actions
  • Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
  • Coordinate with management to improve safety performance
  • Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety, and evacuation plans
  • Liaise with government inspectors and external safety consultants
  • Promote a safety‑first culture among workers and contractors
