Overview

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team at J&T EXPRESS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Yong Peng, Johor. As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees by implementing and overseeing our comprehensive occupational health and safety program. This is a full-time position with a rotational shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a strong safety culture
• Investigating accidents and incidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting on safety performance metrics
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and find innovative solutions
• Staying up-to-date with relevant health and safety regulations and best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar safety or occupational health and safety role
• Familiarity with Malaysian safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, DOSH)
• Able to work rotational shifts (including morning, noon and night shift)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels
