Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a passionate Safety Coordinator to join our oil & gas and petrochemical project teams in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. The role focuses on Online Leak Sealing (OLS) and piping maintenance, ensuring compliance with SHE policies and safety procedures on site.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. You will conduct daily site inspections, prepare JHA/HIRAC, train workers, and work with Safety Officers and subcontractors to uphold a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the site's Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies on site.
• Prepare Job Hazard Analysis / HIRAC for related site work.
• Conduct daily site inspections and training to ensure safe work practices.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and acts.
• Liaise with Safety Officer, Site Manager, and subcontractors on safety issues.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, checklists and incident records.
• Ensure workers and visitors comply with site safety rules and PPE usage.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement on site.
