Job Description
Implement and monitor site safety and EHS requirements for construction projects
Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues
Monitor high-risk activities such as electrical works, MEP works, working at heights, excavation, and heavy equipment operations
Review construction drawings and identify potential safety risks related to site activities
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and training for workers and site teams
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions
Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, incident reports, and compliance documentation
Ensure compliance with DOSH requirements, company EHS standards, and project safety procedures
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and management to improve site safety performance
Support emergency response, first aid coordination, and safety improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Valid DOSH Yellow or Green Book / Registered Safety Officer certification
Minimum 5 years of relevant safety or EHS experience in the construction industry
Experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, data center, or high-risk technical facility projects preferred
Strong understanding of construction safety risks including electrical works, MEP systems, WAH, excavation, and heavy equipment operations
Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify safety risks
Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to train and influence site personnel
Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
Confined space, fire safety, and fall protection certificates are preferred
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to make sound decisions under pressure
