Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Johor is seeking a Safety and Health Officer with experience in ensuring workplace safety compliance. The ideal candidate will conduct training for workers, manage safety inspections, and liaise with regulatory bodies. A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental/Health/Safety is required, along with at least 3 years of industry experience. This position also requires proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing industries.
• Green Book holder is preferred.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor the performance of the workplace safety and health committee.
• Carry out daily factory inspections for compliance with DOSH ACT.
• Conduct accident investigation and establish preventive actions.
• Conduct training to all levels of workers.
• Liaise with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA for related issues.
• Handle all other safety, health, and environmental matters.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing industries is required.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Tampoi.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
• Green Book holder, Familiar with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, Good communication and presentation skills.
