Overview

The RTR Accountant will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end closing processes. The candidate is required to serve mandarin speaking country hence mandarin speaking skill is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily posting of financial transactions into the general ledger system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documentation.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment in line with the company's established control framework.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all financial records comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities, including accruals and adjustments, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform thorough reconciliations of general ledger accounts during month-end close, investigating and resolving any discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of the balance sheet and income statement to identify anomalies, variances, or trends, providing insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Treasury to ensure consistent and efficient integration of financial data.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Continuously enhance and maintain general ledger processes and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with company policies.
Profile
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in RTR/ GL or related accounting field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the life science industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Able to speak and write mandarin as candidate is required to serve mandarin speaking country
