Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd Malaysia is seeking a process automation professional to design, develop, test, and support Blue Prism bots. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive automation initiatives and ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in enterprise-scale automation, strong analytical skills, and excellent English communication. Candidates should be open to regional projects and willing to adapt to new technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in process automation.
• Knowledge of RPA software such as Blue Prism or other platforms.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support bots created in Blue Prism.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on automation initiatives.
• Ensure quality of end deliverables.
• Develop and implement quality control, testing procedures, and bot training materials.
• Identify ways to improve bot performance.
• Comply with in-house change management processes.
• Collaborate with Heads of Departments to translate vision into requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in ad-hoc regional projects.

Design, develop, test and support RPA bots, based on Blue Prism platform.

Create, test and support in-house macros created using VB.

Identify, coordinate and implement automation initiatives

Function and Duties:

Main Tasks:

Design, develop, test and support the bots created in Blue Prism platform.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the development of automation initiatives.

Ensure quality of the end deliverables.

Develop and implement appropriate quality control and test procedures, troubleshooting, training of bots and writing technical guide for internal and external users.

Identify ways to improve bot performance.

Comply with existing in-house change management processes.

Collaborate with respective Head of Departments to understand how the vision of the product translates into specific requirements and business needs.

Provide regular and effective progress updates to ensure delivery timeliness.

Ad-hoc assignments i.e. collaborating in regional projects.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Minimum 1 to 3 years professional experience in process automation, ideally on enterprise scale and business process analyst.

Professional knowledge of RPA software, ideally Blue Prism or other RPA platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere.

Excellent command of English.

Excellent written and oral skills with the ability to clearly document the end-to-end process cycle, automated solution designs and to present technical details to a non-technical audience.

Ability to conceptualize automated solutions and understand the implemented design architecture.
