Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of daily trucking operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and optimizing routes.
  • Ensure goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Oversee vehicle and driver assignments while coordinating with fleet maintenance teams to ensure proper upkeep.
  • Lead and develop a team of drivers and operational support staff.
  • Maintain compliance with local and federal transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Manage trucking customer service representatives and planning teams.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and ensure operations adhere to ISO standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries related to trucking services.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to resolve service issues promptly.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, vehicle utilization, and fuel efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular operational performance reports and improvement plans to senior management.
Qualifications
