A leading industrial packaging company is seeking a Risk Management and Assurance Senior Executive in Kulai, Malaysia. The role involves enhancing the Risk Management Process, acting as a liaison for compliance matters, and managing Business Continuity initiatives. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree, strong analytical skills, and a minimum of three years of experience in a related field. The position requires excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
To enhance and execute the Risk Management Process, which includes Risk Management Framework & Policy, Standard Operating Procedure, Key Risk Indicators.
To act as the central liaison/contact person for Group Compliance/Group Risk in relation to all risk and compliance matters.
To review the adequacy and comprehensiveness of the governance best practices.
To prepare and present quarterly Risk Management Report to Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
To enhance risk governance culture through awareness sessions, risk workshops, training and facilitation programs.
To carry out global risk scanning and emerging risk assessment affecting the industry and organization to ensure key external risks are identified and profiled effectively.
To manage and coordinate Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives, including the policies and procedures setting/review and coordinating and managing the established Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
To implement global compliance policies to ensure business activities are in compliance with laws and regulations.
To assist in performing internal audit assignment processes, including detailed planning, audit testing and reporting in accordance with Internal Audit methodology.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Law or equivalent.
Professional certificate on Risk Management and/or Internal Control would be an added advantage.
At least three (3) years of working experience in the related field required for this position, with experience in manufacturing industry an additional advantage.
Detail oriented, objective focus, possess strong analytical skills and innovative.
Proficient and strong command in English both in communication and writing.
Intermediate/Advanced level in Microsoft Office.
Ability to plan and prioritize works, high commitment and drive to complete assignments within given deadline.
Demonstrate ability to build relationships and work well with peers from other business units and interact effectively with internal and external parties.
