Job summary

A leading pulp and paper company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a detail-oriented individual to coordinate enterprise risk management and governance initiatives. This role includes maintaining risk registers, managing document control processes, and providing secretarial support for governance meetings. Qualifications

  • Experience in document control or secretariat is an advantage.

  • Support enterprise risk management and governance initiatives.
  • Maintain risk registers and mitigation action plans.
  • Act as Document Controller, managing master lists and document tracking.

Job description

Support the implementation and coordination of enterprise risk management, governance and integrity initiatives.

Assist in maintaining risk registers, mitigation action plans and related documentation.

Track deliverables, timeline and follow-up actions to support timely reporting and compliance.

Support the implementation and administration of the Group Document Control Procedure.

Act as Document Controller, including maintaining master lists, version control, document tracking and proper filing of controlled documents.

Coordinate document review, approval, update and archival processes in accordance with approved procedures.

Provide secretariat support for governance meetings, including quarterly Risk Management Committee meetings.

Prepare meeting notices, agendas and meeting packs.

Attend meetings and prepare accurate, structured and timely minutes.

Track and follow up on action items arising from meetings.

Liase with internal stakeholders on documentation, risk and governance-related matters.

Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Support ad-hoc assignments related to risk, governance and integrity as required.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor 's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Governance, Corporate Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience; fresh graduates with strong administrative or governance exposure may be considered.
  • Experience in document control, records management or secretariat is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly meticulous and detail oriented, with strong accuracy in documentation and minute-taking.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
