Job summary

A leading insurance provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified Risk Surveyor to conduct risk surveys and ensure timely risk management services. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering and has at least 2 years of experience in the general insurance industry. You will be responsible for property risk management and compliance with industry guidelines. Strong analytical skills and good communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Engineering and/or related qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Risk Surveyor in general Insurance Industry.
• Good market knowledge in risk surveying, property risk management and fire protection systems/standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts risk surveys and associated activities including property risk management services and follow-up.
• Ensure a prudent and timely Risk Management & Loss Control (RMLC) service standards to underwriters, marketing officers, intermediaries and customers.
• Ensure all aspect relating to Special Rating application are professionally & timely handled.
• Ensure sound RMLC recommendations through proper risk management process.
• Ensure compliance with code of conduct and TM Guidelines.
• Undertake other responsibilities and/or projects as assigned.
