The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Associate in the Actuarial Consulting team, you’ll be leading or working as part of a project team to deliver a wide range of client engagements. This includes:

• Regulatory changes, including IFRS17 and Risk-Based Capital
• Actuarial Valuation, embedded value reviews, regulatory related reviews
• Performance evaluation in areas related to financial risks, product distribution and capital issues
• Advanced financial modelling approaches and systems

To qualify for the role you must have

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the life/family takaful actuarial team or an actuarial consulting firm
• Actively pursuing actuarial qualifications
• Depth of experience in at least one of the following areas: Financial and regulatory reporting, Valuation of life insurance/family takaful liabilities, IFRS17
• Good understanding of economic or market issues and the ability to interpret their impact on clients
• Experience in working in a project-based, team-oriented environment

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good knowledge of Prophet software
