Job summary

TEKMARK SDN BHD in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking an Applications Engineer (RF/Microwave Testing) to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with customers and the sales team to deliver demos, test results, training, and commissioning, helping to translate technical capabilities into winning solutions.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and about two years in semiconductor or electronics, with RF/microwave testing experience as a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, or Manufacturing (RF/microwave testing is a big plus).
• Strong knowledge of test & measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF sources, RF power meters, noise figure analyzers, RF/uW network analyzers).
• Proficiency in SCPI, .NET, C#, C++, or Keysight/Agilent VEE is an advantage.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide pre- and post-sales technical support (demo, application, training, testing, and commissioning).
• Engage throughout the sales cycle — from deal qualification to benchmarking and closure.
• Be the go-to expert in customer applications and highlight technical advantages.
• Understand customer needs and ensure successful implementation.
• Build long-term customer relationships by delivering excellent service and problem-solving support.
• Continuously improve support services to raise customer satisfaction.
• Take ownership of additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
