Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Revenue Accounting Supervisor to lead our revenue accounting operations in Malaysia. Acting as the APAC regional lead, you will oversee revenue recognition under US GAAP and partner closely with the Global Director of Revenue to drive accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across global processes. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys leading teams, standardizing processes, and building a regional center of excellence within a dynamic, global business. You’ll gain exposure to international operations and play a key role in shaping our APAC revenue accounting center of excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee day-to-day revenue accounting operations in accordance with ASC 606 and company policy.
  • Supervise and mentor a Revenue Accountant, providing guidance on technical accounting, contract analysis, and operational excellence.
  • Review revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules prepared by the team for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring revenue is recognized correctly and reported timely.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of audit support, technical accounting memos, and internal control documentation.
  • Support systems integration and enhancement efforts related to revenue recognition processes (ERP, CRM, and reporting tools).
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role focused on revenue accounting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, with the ability to interpret and apply guidance to complex arrangements.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring accounting professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with global teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems such as SUN ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Salesforce (SFDC) is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a multinational, SaaS, or technology company in a shared-services or regional hub environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of driving process standardization and system optimization.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred to facilitate communication with regional stakeholders and support cross-border collaboration.
  • CPA or equivalent certification.

Hybrid/On‑Site opportunity, must be able to travel to local office 2‑3 days per week.
