A leading fashion retail company located in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor to lead a team of sales associates. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in fashion retail and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include supervising sales associates, ensuring effective product displays, and managing staff-related matters. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Benefits include annual leave, medical leave, and performance bonuses.
1) Minimum SPM or equivalent. Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, or related fields is an advantage.
2) At least 2-3 years of working experience in fashion retail, sales supervision.
3) Strong leadership and people management skills.
4) Able to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
5) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic scheduling systems.
6) Responsible, proactive, and results driven.
7) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
8) Willing to travel within assigned areas and work on weekends or public holidays when required.
1) Supervising all retail sales associate in your assigned area and helping them to achieve the company’s objectives.
2) Ensure company products are prominently displayed in outlets, according to the guidelines from the Store Manager/ Area Manager and Marketing Team (VM).
3) Monitor the team’s attendance and ensure punctuality of the team.
4) Responsible for interviewing and shortlisting candidates for vacancies.
5) Train and guide new staff to ensure smooth onboarding and understanding of job responsibilities.
6) Upload staff’s work schedules and ensure they are updated and accurate.
7) Assist the PIC/ Manager in overseeing staff-related matters and resolving on-ground issues.
8) Support in‑store promotions and selling when required in selected outlets.
9) Cash on hand must be banked into Bank. If the banking day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday, the cash is to be securely placed in the safety box until next working day, adhere to all the company rules and regulations.
10) Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
11) Ensure all sales targets and performance KPIs are met.
12) Ensure all administrative and approval work is accurate and aligned, including HR, Finance, and accounting tasks.
