About the client:

Our Client is a leading retailer that offers a wide range of products, including furniture, electronics, appliances, and computers. They are known for offering high-quality products from top brands, and providing exceptional customer service and competitive prices.

Job responsibilities:
  • Maximizing sales and profits through store execution of the companies promotional activities, by developing and motivating sales people to maximize conversion rates
  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
    Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training and developing employees.
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
  • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control;
    Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits.
  • Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning.
  • Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.
  • Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
  • Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues.
  • Responding to customer complaints and comments urgently.
  • Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues.
  • Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing.
  • Assists with ordering, pricing, and receiving merchandise. Ensures accurate documentation of all price changes, markdowns, and transfers to control inventory.
  • Keeps store clean, stocked and in first class condition at all times. Maintains high cleaning standards including stockroom, and equipment. Cleans all spills to remove safety hazards.
Job Requirement:
  • Minimum 5 years experiences in customer service, high-end retail environment, electronics retail or similar capacity.
  • Passion in retail industry, good communication and leadership skills.
  • Service-oriented and hands-on person with good customer handling skills.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages / dialects spoken is a plus.
  • Independent and good team player, pleasant personality.
  • A self-directed learner who possesses high levels of initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good computer skills and netiquette.
