Job summary

A growing FMCG company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Representative to engage with retail customers, promote products, and meet sales targets. Candidates should have substantial sales experience and strong communication skills, particularly in Mandarin. A travel allowance and accommodation will be provided for outstation visits. Fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • 12 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or retail.
  • Friendly and persuasive communicator.
  • Must possess own transport and be willing to travel.
  • Highly responsible, independent, and goal oriented.
  • Fluency in English, Malay, and Chinese dialect preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Visit retail customers to take orders and promote products.
  • Build relationships with store owners and resellers.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on deliveries and payments.
  • Monitor and report market trends and customer feedback.
  • Conduct outstation trips to cover assigned territories.
  • Meet monthly sales targets and earn commissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit retail customers regularly to take orders and promote featured products.
  • Build strong relationships with store owners, resellers, and electricians.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on deliveries, payment collections, and outstanding issues.
  • Monitor and report market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Conduct outstation trips (2 weeks/month) to cover assigned territories.
  • Meet monthly sales targets and earn commissions based on sales and collections.
  • Participate in training sessions and product briefings.
Requirements:
  • 12 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, electrical, hardware, or retail sectors.
  • Friendly and persuasive communicator with good organizational skills.
  • Must possess own transport and be willing to travel frequently.
  • Highly responsible, independent, and goal oriented.
  • Fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to converse in English, Malay, and Chinese dialect.
  • Candidates that are fluent in both Mandarin and English are preferred because the work needs candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking customers.
