An outdoor equipment company is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant for their stores in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will engage with customers, offer personalized product recommendations, and contribute to sales initiatives. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills, a passion for outdoor activities, and the ability to work independently. As a Retail Assistant, you will be at the frontline of selling activities of our products. Based on the customer needs, you are responsible for performing our products and providing experiential customer service satisfaction to encourage customers to purchase at the store.
In this role, you will get to :
Be an Advisor to the customer. Build communication with our customer; from identifying their needs for outdoor activities until providing product's recommendation that match their needs.
Source of Product Information. As a Retail Assistant, you can explain detailed information about our product, such as; product features and function, product material & technology, and product treatment.
Involved in End-to-End Selling Activities. You are part of the flow of product sales activity; starting from the arrival of the product at the store until the product reaches the customer.
Play an integral part in contributing towards outlet sales achievement, sales growth and quality customer service
Assisting in all aspects of outlet, especially display, merchandising and cleanliness
Good communication and interpersonal skills. It would be nice if you have experience in the sales/marketing/retail field
Demonstrate enthusiasm and exhibit passion for the outdoor brand and retail industry
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance
Have basic Microsoft Office skills
Ability to communicate in more than 2 languages (English, Malaysia, Mandarin)
Comfortable with 6 days work schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends and holidays
The Placement will be at EIGER Adventure stores at Jalan Ampang, The Curve Damansara, MyTOWN Shopping Center
