A leading retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee retail operations and develop strategies for efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, strong communication skills, and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. This position is located at the AEON Taman Maluri headquarters and requires a willingness to travel within a fast-paced retail environment.
To responsible in managing Retail Facility strategy with a comprehensive plan that outlines, an organization's physical assets, Environments, Health & Safety (EHS), operate across different business functions, working on both a strategic.
To managed and maintained to support core Business Operations.
To obtain and compile feedbacks from Operations.
To develop strategy for improvement on efficiency and effectiveness based on data results.
To study and make proposal for improvement (KAIZEN).
To compile and study related audit results such as Internal Audit, Japan Audit, Risk Prevention audit, Food Safety & Hygiene audit, HACCP audit & etc.
To study and simplify agreement terms for facility related equipment.
Availability of updated, develop procedures, process flow, guidelines, instructions, standing orders, etc. for facility related matters.
Training and coaching plan on related subjects to respective Person In Charge (PIC) at Operations.
To monitor and updating action progress and project completion.
Preparation and compilation of information and documents for department related meetings.
Point of contacts and communication for Retail Facility Management department.
Well-verse in technical/ engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
To establish and or maintain department connection and relation for effective communication.
Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Business, or related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail.
Understanding of retail facility operations, budgeting, and compliance. Experience with Facility Management software is a plus.
Proven team leadership and strong communication skills.
Ability to develop strategic plans and analyze cost and performance.
Willing to travel and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
The candidate must be able to work in AEON Taman Maluri, Cheras Headquarter office.
