Overview
To support WonderLab’s retail business operations by managing daily store activities, ensuring excellent in-store execution, and driving sales performance across assigned key accounts (e.g., R Pharmacy, SOGO, and new retail partners). The Retail Executive ensures that WonderLab’s merchandising, promoter operations, and retail branding are consistently aligned with company standards and deliver a strong consumer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Store Operations & Field Management
- Monitor and manage daily store operations across assigned retail partners to ensure sales objectives and brand standards are met.
- Conduct routine store visits to review promoter performance, shelf presentation, tester condition, and stock sufficiency.
- Ensure compliance with planogram, POSM display, and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Promoter & Manpower Coordination
- Supervise and schedule promoter shifts, ensuring optimal manpower allocation across outlets.
- Track promoter attendance, punctuality, and productivity; resolve on-ground operational issues promptly.
- Support promoter engagement and communication, ensuring sales targets and product knowledge are well understood.
- Campaign & Activation Support
- Execute retail campaigns, in-store sampling, and promotional activities in coordination with the Marketing team.
- Ensure timely setup of promotional materials, testers, and display updates.
- Collect feedback from field activities to support post-campaign reporting and continuous improvement.
- Sales & Performance Tracking
- Track daily and weekly sales performance, consolidating data for review with the Retail Assistant Manager.
- Identify and escalate issues related to low-performing outlets, stock shortages, or visual inconsistencies.
- Provide recommendations to improve in-store conversion and visibility.
- Maintain good working relationships with store managers and retail partners to facilitate smooth campaign execution and merchandising compliance.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics for stock replenishment and tester management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Open for fresh graduates that have related internship experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail operations, field merchandising, or promoter management (beauty / FMCG preferred).
- Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with good time management and accountability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sales reporting) and WhatsApp / Telegram for field communication.
- Able to travel frequently to outlets within the Klang Valley area and within Malaysia on a quarterly basis.
- Passionate about beauty and customer experience.
