Job summary

MR.DIY Group (M) Berhad is seeking a data analytics professional to analyse complex retail inventory and replenishment problems. You will own the analytical lifecycle from problem understanding to recommendations, using SQL, Python/pandas, Excel and BI tools for large datasets.

You will validate data, prepare clear reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders with varying technical knowledge, while applying AI and automation to boost productivity. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a data-related field is required.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Solid foundation in SQL, Python/pandas and advanced Excel; Power BI/Looker Studio are pluses.
• Experience with large datasets, data cleaning, transformation and validation.
• Ability to discuss directions with superiors and explain methods clearly.
• Willingness to ask questions, investigate issues and contribute ideas.
• Knowledge of retail, inventory, replenishment or allocation is a plus.
• Experience with databases, Parquet, automation, and ML tools is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates with strong analytics are welcome.

• Analyse complex retail inventory, replenishment and allocation problems across stores and SKUs.
• Take ownership from problem understanding to follow-up and recommendations.
• Use SQL, Python/pandas, Excel and BI tools to process and visualise large datasets.
• Validate data and results with cross-checks before decisions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for varied technical audiences.
• Proactively identify issues and propose ideas to improve processes.
• Leverage AI, automation, and tools to boost productivity while validating outcomes.
