Job summary

TUMI is seeking a Store Sales Associate in Kuala Lumpur to deliver luxury retail experiences. You will contribute to achieving store targets while maintaining exemplary service, product knowledge, and brand image. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in handling inventory, and adherence to store SOPs.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of fashion or luxury brand retail experience, and strong English and Bahasa proficiency, with solid communication and PC skills for POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the sales to hit individual store targets and follow brand strategies.

• Support store operations including opening/closing procedures and POS processes.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and team to deliver premium customer experience.

Job Description

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Achieve Individual Sales and Store sales targets as well as other personal retail metric targets given (i.e Average Transaction Value (ATV), Personal Conversion Rate (CR),Unit Per Transaction (UPT), CXE result)
• Achieve high service standards as per Mystery Shopper Program & GUESTS guidelines and checklist
• Achieve high retail standard and customer registration target as per score card
• Inventory Integrity, conducting stock counts as assigned schedule
• Personal Development which will include indicators as defined by the Brand Principal

Key Areas Of Responsibilities

Drive the Sales

• Work to hit individual sales and other store target
• Execute sales strategies and action plans implemented by the Managers
• Maintain a tight control on discounting and giveaways/discounted products
• Monitors sales through the cash register; resolves discrepancies, prepares, reconciles, and records cash receipts for a deposit, and prepares sales data reports.
• To carry out & special task/ ad hoc matters pertaining store/brand operations when required whether it be in special circumstances or not.

Achieve High Service Standards

• Keep abreast of product knowledge, sales & customer service whilst providing excellent GUESTS service experience to customers
• Always Maintaining and upholding the company’s image as a prestigious and luxurious brand
• Responsible for collecting Customer Registration Card (CRC) as per store target
• Work with the Managers to best handle customer complaints
• To comply with Brand standards, company SOP and the Code of Business Conduct

Maintain Best Retail Standards

• Perform store opening and closing procedures and ensure the process complies with company SOPs
• Ensure proper care of stocks, fixtures, and furniture within the store and always kept neat and tidy
• Ensure visual merchandising are implemented efficiently.
• Vigilant and practice regular checks on staff movements during operating hours
• To always adhere to all guidelines as per the Company Store Operations Procedures Deck.

Inventory Integrity

• Working together with Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager to maintain a healthy inventory while minimizing the possibility of stock shrinkages as per guidelines listed in the Company Store Operations Procedures Deck.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock count to avoid pilferage.
• Resolve discrepancies within 48hours and report all findings to Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager
• Monitor and coordinate receiving of merchandise and price tagging according to operation procedures

Reporting

• Updating customer database in system on daily basis.
• Responsible for all stock control documentation, ensure timely and accurate submission
• To support in collating data for all reports pertaining to sales, customer service, inventory control, logistics in a timely manner
• Responsible to deliver/accomplish any Ad Hoc reporting task as required by the Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager
• Minimum 1 year experience in fashion or luxury brands retail sales
• Proven sales achievement in fashion or luxury brands market
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English & Bahasa
• Ability to work in a team-driven environment
• Good PC skills such as MS Office and basic understanding of retail POS system
