This role oversees sales results, staff management, customer experience, stock control, and is responsible for hiring & developing retail staff to support store growth.

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and driven Retail Area Manager (Junior/Senior) to manage the daily operations and performance of all Famsy retail outlets. This role oversees sales results, staff management, customer experience, stock control, and is responsible for hiring & developing retail staff to support store growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing, staff scheduling, and shift handovers
  • Drive store sales performance and achieve monthly sales targets
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and recruit retail staff as required
  • Conduct onboarding and basic training for new retail staff
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer feedback or complaints
  • Execute promotions, price updates, and merchandising according to company guidelines
  • Monitor stock levels, oversee stock receiving, transfers, and stock counts
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, POS usage, and compliance with company SOPs
  • Prepare daily sales and operational reports for management
  • Liaise with mall management and head office on operational matters
Requirements
  • Minimum 2–4 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or store management role
  • Experience in hiring, training, and managing retail staff
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Sales‑driven and customer‑focused mindset
  • Comfortable working retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Basic computer skills (POS system, Excel / Google Sheets)
