Job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our Japanese dining outlet. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation for Japanese cuisine and culture, a strong sense of hospitality, and proven experience in managing restaurant operations to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow.

Maintain authentic Japanese dining standards in both food presentation and guest experience.

Manage and train service and kitchen teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure menu quality, portion control, and food cost targets are met.

Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relations to ensure product freshness and availability.

Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally to ensure maximum satisfaction.

Prepare sales reports, analyze performance, and implement strategies to improve profitability.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a Japanese or Asian restaurant.

Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, culture, and dining etiquette.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Good command of English (Japanese language skills are an advantage).

Ability to work under pressure and handle peak business periods efficiently.

Strong understanding of restaurant operations, budgeting, and cost control.
