Restaurant Assistant Supervisor - Retail F&B (Min 1-2 years related experience)

Working Days: 6 days / week

Role Summary

You assist the Outlet Supervisor in running daily operations at Khulafa: managing staff on shift, maintaining service quality, handling basic paperwork, and making sure the outlet runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house and basic back-of-house operations during your shift.

Lead and guide service staff (waiters, runners, cashiers) on duty.

Arrange staff schedule on shift, manage break times, and ensure enough manpower during peak hours.

Check cleanliness and readiness of dining area, counter, and self-service stations before, during, and after service.

Handle customer issues and complaints on the spot in a professional manner.

Monitor food quality, order accuracy, and service speed.

Assist with cashier duties: opening/closing, cash handling, simple reports.

Check and monitor stock levels for key items (drinks, disposables, etc.) and report low stock.

Ensure all staff follow SOPs for hygiene, safety, and service.

Report daily issues and basic sales/operation updates to the Outlet Supervisor / management.

Requirements

Min 2 years experience in F&B / restaurant / mamak environment (supervisor or senior crew is an advantage).

Able to lead a small team and give clear instructions.

Comfortable working in a busy outlet with long hours on your feet.

Can work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Speaks Bahasa Malaysia (basic English is a bonus).

Responsible, punctual, and able to follow SOPs.

Nice to Have (Bonus)

Previous experience as Supervisor / Assistant Supervisor / Shift Leader.

Basic skills in handling POS system and simple daily reports.

Familiar with mamak-style operations.
