Resort Operations, Manager/Senior Manager/Director
Overview
The Resort Operations Senior Manager oversees the daily operations of the resort to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient workflow, and high standards across all departments.
Detailed responsibilities of the role will be determined according to the individual's experience and competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise operational departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Recreation, and Facilities.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day resort operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Develop and implement operational procedures, standards, and policies to improve efficiency.
- Monitor and manage budgets, cost controls, and operational performance metrics.
- Train, mentor, and support department managers and staff to maintain high performance levels.
- Coordinate with Sales & Marketing, Finance, and HR to support resort strategies and objectives.
- Handle guest feedback, service recovery, and escalated issues professionally and promptly.
- Oversee safety, security, and compliance with regulatory and brand standards.
- Plan for peak seasons, special events, and operational needs.
- Support long-term planning, improvement projects, and operational enhancements.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Degree preferred).
- Proven experience leading multiple operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Recreation, or Facilities).
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- Strong understanding of guest service standards and operational best practices.
- Ability to manage budgets, cost controls, and KPIs.
- Good planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong customer-service orientation with a focus on service recovery.
