Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Repair Center Technician in Malaysia to support daily repair activities and coordinate with engineers on sourcing and planning. You will assist technicians in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic PCB components, expanding capabilities for new item types.

The role involves a 12-hour shift and requires Diploma or Certificate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, with 1+ year of manufacturing experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must be able to work in 12 hour shift.
• Able to read, write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Support the Repair Center’s daily activities and ensure smooth execution of repair tasks.
• Liaise with engineers on spare-part sourcing and repair planning.
• Assist Repair Center technicians in troubleshooting and repairing until final buy-off by stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical items, electrical parts, and electronic PCBs.
• Expand and improve the Repair Center’s capability to repair new item types.
• Ensure an effective handover process during shift changes.
• Actively participate in teamwork to resolve issues efficiently.
