About the role
We are seeking an experienced Renovation Project Manager to join our dynamic team at NONO STUDIO SDN. BHD. in our Kuala Lumpur City Centre office. As a Renovation Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our residential and commercial renovation projects. This is a full‑time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and diverse renovation projects.
What you'll be doing
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop the project plan, detailed schedules, and roadmap for the renovation.
- Budget and Cost Control: Prepare the budget, monitor expenses, manage financial aspects, and process payment authorisations for contractors and suppliers.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the client, architects, engineers, general contractors, and other consultants.
- Quality and Risk Management: Ensure quality standards are met, identify and assess potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Communication and Reporting: Provide regular progress updates, reports, and documentation to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the central point for resolving conflicts and unforeseen problems that arise during the project.
- Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements are obtained before and during construction.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Renovation Project Manager or in a similar construction project management role.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing residential and commercial renovation projects from start to finish.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organise and coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and team members.
- Thorough understanding of building regulations, safety standards and quality control processes.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
