Job summary

ICON is seeking a Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) / Senior CTA in Kuala Lumpur to support trial planning, start-up, execution, and close-out. You will manage essential trial documents and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure GCP compliance and efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in clinical research, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with CTMS and TMF/eTMF systems; familiarity with AI tools and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or trial support.
• Working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial regulations.
• Experience with TMF/eTMF management and study coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools is a plus.
• Professional English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to support clinical trial activities from start-up through close-out.
• Maintain study information in CTMS and other clinical systems.
• Collect, review, and file essential study documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure TMF/eTMF completeness and timeliness.
• Support regulatory submissions and ethics documentation.
• Coordinate document distribution and study communications within timelines.
• Track progress and maintain study-related metrics and reports.
• Assist investigators and sites with document collection and issue resolution.
• Support meetings and trainings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
