Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our remote team. You will develop robust web applications, ensure scalability and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.

You will handle both front-end and back-end work, manage databases, and integrate cloud services. The role includes contributing to architecture decisions and maintaining code quality across in-house and customer systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or similar).
• Strong front-end and back-end development skills.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS).
• Hands-on experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience in requirement definition and system design.
• Experience in developing and maintaining both in-house and customer systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and design system architecture for new features.
• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• Optimize database queries and manage relational databases.
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Work on both in-house systems and customer system development projects.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
