Remote Bilingual (English & Mandarin) Liaison Assistant/Junior Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Liaison Assistant/Junior Attorney to join our strategic legal practice. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to gain exposure to high‑level legal decision‑making and cross‑border deals. The successful candidate will play a critical role in drafting and managing legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficient communication.

Key responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents.
  • Handle follow‑up communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in document delivery.
  • Maintain internal systems and templates (SOPs, contracts, trackers).
  • Coordinate feedback and revisions between senior staff and the client.
Requirements
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients (written and spoken).
  • Native/fluent level Mandarin proficiency required for effective client communication.
  • Licensed to practice law in Malaysia (or other common law jurisdiction).
  • Excellent attention to detail and document formatting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PDF editing, and basic legal tools.
  • 1‑2 years of legal practice experience required.
