Position Summary

The Reliability Technician is responsible for conducting reliability tests, operating reliability equipment, and collecting accurate test data. This role supports engineers by ensuring test execution meets defined protocols and by maintaining lab equipment in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle test samples (preparation, testing, loading/unloading, inspection) and ensure traceability in system.
  • Collect and report test results.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of reliability test equipment and burn in station.
  • Support engineers in executing qualification per test plan.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines in the reliability lab.
  • Escalate abnormal test results or equipment issues to engineers promptly.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Certificate in Electrical/Electronics or related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with reliability/environmental test equipment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of test methods and measurement tools (multimeter, digital communication analyzers, microscope).
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills for data collection and reporting.
  • Ability to follow test plans and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
