Job summary

Resmed seeks a Reliability Engineer based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, to maximize equipment uptime across our manufacturing operations. You will drive maintenance excellence using condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven insights.

Collaborating with maintenance, engineering, quality, and production teams, you will develop strategies, conduct RCM and root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.

Qualifications

• Background in Reliability or Maintenance Engineering.
• Knowledge of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
• Hands-on CMMS experience.
• Understanding of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
• Experience with failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Analytical problem-solving with data interpretation.
• Familiarity with reliability metrics and maintenance optimization.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to improve equipment uptime, performance, and lifecycle management.
• Lead condition monitoring and predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Use CMMS to manage asset data, planning, and work orders.
• Conduct RCM assessments to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Analyze performance trends to drive data-based decisions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity gains.
• Develop standards and documentation for reliability practices.
